I'm Gavin Calow, a Canadian high school student and part-time writer.

I started writing as a way to explore ideas I couldn't explain out loud; questions about meaning, depth, and the quiet complexity of everyday life.

​

Over time, that curiosity turned into structured stories and eventually into my first published book, Zero.

​

I don't think writing is always about having answers. For me, it's more about following questions far enough to see where they lead: new ideas, new questions, new curiosity.

​

Outside of writing, I enjoy studying topics that interest me, thinking about new ideas, or collecting moments that grow into something larger. Most of what I create starts quietly.

This site is a space for those stories, the processes behind them, and whatever comes next.
